At Wainwright Credit Union Ltd. our goal is to provide efficient and courteous service to our members while providing an extensive range of financial products. However, in order to provide you with the best possible service and products that are the most beneficial to you, we need to know who you are and understand your financial needs. To do this, we may require you to provide us with certain personal information over and above your name and address. For example, the Income Tax Act requires us to ask for your Social Insurance Number when opening an investment or interest-bearing account. To provide you with credit such as a mortgage or line of credit, we need to assess your credit worthiness and financial status. Our Credit Union understands that the personal information you give to us or allow us to obtain from another source is important to you. We assure you that this information is kept in strict confidence and that this information is accessed by personnel on a need to know basis only.
