Complete the authorization form and then click on the submit via email button; complete the process as directed. Verify your email has been successfully sent by opening your sent items folder. If you experience difficulties sending the file as above, it’s still easy. Just save the completed form to your desktop and send an email with form attached to wcu@alberta-cu.com

What is an e-statement?
An e-statement is an electronic version of the paper statements you have been receiving. This file can be viewed on screen, saved where you want and printed if you wish. It is identical to your paper statements.
How can I see my e-statement?
e-statements are accessible through internet BANKING only. An e-statement button is located in the menu on the left side of the page once you have logged in. Once you access the e-statement page, for all accounts that you can can currently view through internet BANKING, you will see a list, by date, of available e-statements. Registered product statements will continue to be distributed as paper statements until 2011.
What kind of file is my e-statement?
e-statements are pdf files which are identical to your paper statements. You will easily be able to view and save your files using Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded for free from http://get.adobe.com/reader
When will my e-statement be ready?
Statements are produced mid-month (the 15th)for personal accounts, and at month end for business accounts. You will be able to view your e-statement about 3-5 days later.
How long will my e-statements be kept?
The first e-statements were created on March 31, 2010. You can view any statement back to that date. Seven years from now on that same date, as one more month is added, the oldest month will drop from your viewing options. You will always have a full seven years of history to refer to. If you want to keep your e-statements longer than that, you should save them electronically.
How do I sign up to receive e-statements?
If you’re using internet BANKING, you already have access to e-statements.

Once I say “no” to paper, how long will it take for my e-statement to be available?
That depends. Since e-statements are created monthly, there are cycle deadlines. If you hit it just right, your next statement will be an e-statement. If not, you may receive one more paper statement after you opt out.
Will I receive an e-mail notice when my new e-statement is ready for viewing?
For the next three months, there will be notification on our main website page when a cycle is ready for viewing. After that time, there will be no official notification, however, standard cycle dates will apply and you will be able to view your statement within 3-5 days after your cycle date.
Will I be able to search for specific transactions on my e-statement?
Yes. Using the “find” feature on your Adobe Reader, you will be able to locate transactions by amount, date, or cheque number. Just remember to type in the amount using commas and decimals. Don’t forget, as an internet BANKING user, you also have extensive and very user friendly account activity search tools from within your internet BANKING account. This history is complete for a maximum of two years. If you have questions about this feature or any other internet BANKING feature, ask your branch for an internet BANKING usage guide.

Alberta Credit Union of the Year
Wainwright Credit Union Ltd. was honoured to be named Credit Union of the Year at the Credit Union Central Alberta Conference and Annual General Meeting Banquet in Edmonton on April 8, 2010.
Out of the 45 Credit Unions in Alberta, Wainwright Credit Union was selected as the 2010 recipient of this prestigious award that is granted each year to a single Alberta Credit Union. The award is decided on by a panel from Alberta Central. Consideration is given to various operating areas including financial results and marketing initiatives. Besides ending the 2008-2009 fiscal year with exceptionally strong financial results, Wainwright Credit Union also won six national marketing awards at the Marketing Association for Credit Unions in June of 2009.
