Career pathing was started at Wainwright Credit Union to give employees a clear sense of the opportunities within the company and the sequential steps in education, skills, and experience building needed to attain specific career goals.

Education and Training

If you are interested in growing and developing then this is the place to be. Wainwright Credit Union offers a wide range of personal development opportunities to take credit and non-credit courses. As well, employees are encouraged to attend in-house training sessions on business practices and product knowledge.

Employee Recognition and Service Awards

Wainwright Credit Union has developed a program to recognize the contributions of employees over and above their job duties. These might include volunteering to work on a committee, completing a professional development course, or participating in an after work community event. Service awards are given out to recognize employees who have achieved significant milestones of dedicated service with Wainwright Credit Union and continuous service in the credit union system.

Summer Employment Program

Wainwright Credit Union hires students to work from May to August. Applicants must be returning to a post-secondary education program in the fall to qualify and must submit resumes between February 13 and March 2, 2012.
